Alexis Rosenfeld is the patron of the first edition of Ocean Month, held at the Nausicaá aquarium from June 1 to 30. The photographer was on hand at the opening of the event to deliver a lecture and exchange views with pupils.
Organized to mark the 30th anniversary of World Ocean Day, the Month of the Ocean offers a rich program of events, combining meetings with key players committed to the Ocean (explorers, associations, NGOs...), a cultural program with shows and concerts in front of the big bay, a Mr.Goodfish cooking competition, a festival of civic initiatives, workshops and scientific mediation activities for all... to reveal the richness of the Ocean and the means to preserve it.
Throughout the month of June, various Nausicaá events will raise funds with the help of the general public to support actions to save endangered species, led by associations working as close as possible to their natural habitat.
