- Your donations allow scientists to generate new knowledge about the ocean. Better understanding means better protection.
- Your donations are used to transmit knowledge to as many people as possible and contribute to building awareness.
Different ways of giving
- One-time donation
Every donation counts! Give when you can and when you want to with a one-time donation.
- Regular Donation
Regular donations are essential to allow us to anticipate our expenses and take sustainable actions for the Ocean.
- IFI deductible donation
Donations that are deductible from the IFI (Impôt sur la Fortune Immobilière) entitle the donor to a tax reduction of 75% of the amount of the donation made.
- Bequest
By passing on part of your estate to the 1 Ocean Foundation, you are making the choice to offer future generations a healthy ocean and planet.
- Donation by SMS
You can also pay directly by SMS to 92030 by sending:

OCEAN10 if you want to donate 10€
OCEAN20 if you want to donate 20€

The amount will be deducted from your phone bill.
Tax deductible donation
Making a donation to the 1 OCEAN Foundation entitles you to a tax reduction of 66% of the amount paid, up to a limit of 20% of your taxable income (if you are taxable). Beyond this limit, the fiscale law authorizes you to carry over the donations to the next 5 years. The reform of the withholding tax does not change the tax deduction system for your donations. Whether you are taxable or not, the 1 OCEAN Foundation receives your entire donation. To know more about the Foundation
For companies, you benefit from a tax reduction of 60% of your donation, within the limit of 0.5% of the turnover before tax, which can be carried forward to the next 5 years.
The 1 OCEAN Foundation is "sheltered" by the CNRS Foundation and has the same attributes as a public utility foundation. Moreover, it has established links through the TGE (Transnational Giving Europe) to allow European donors to give to the Foundation while benefiting from tax reductions in their country.

Your contact details are necessary for us to send you your tax receipt and keep you informed of the use made of your donations and the progress of our campaigns.
