Making a donation to the 1 OCEAN Foundation entitles you to a tax reduction of 66% of the amount paid, up to a limit of 20% of your taxable income (if you are taxable). Beyond this limit, the fiscale law authorizes you to carry over the donations to the next 5 years. The reform of the withholding tax does not change the tax deduction system for your donations. Whether you are taxable or not, the 1 OCEAN Foundation receives your entire donation. To know more about the Foundation
For companies, you benefit from a tax reduction of 60% of your donation, within the limit of 0.5% of the turnover before tax, which can be carried forward to the next 5 years.
The 1 OCEAN Foundation is "sheltered" by the CNRS Foundation and has the same attributes as a public utility foundation. Moreover, it has established links through the TGE (Transnational Giving Europe) to allow European donors to give to the Foundation while benefiting from tax reductions in their country.
